AFTER weeks of Glasgow’s cutest babies and toddlers gracing the pages of the Glasgow Times, the winner of our annual Times Tots competition can now be revealed.
The winner of this year’s event – which celebrates the city’s cutest and most charismatic children – is Lucas Deans.
One-year-old Little Lucas has been crowned top of the tots, receiving a £1000 cash prize.
Runners-up are three-year-old Myla McIntosh, 13-week-old Regan McCulley and one-year-old Elara Perrie.
Myla has won £350 and both Regan and Elara will be awarded £150 each.
Last year the competition was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic but with life returning to normal, the event was re-launched in July.
Regan’s mother, Alanna Storrie, from Uddingston, entered Times Tots after it was advertised on Glasgow Times Facebook page.
She said: “I saw the competition on Glasgow Times Facebook when it was advertised and thought I’m just going to apply for it.
“I’m delighted, I just didn’t think he’d have won. He’s 13 weeks now and cheeky, very cheeky, likes to shout and loves the sound of his own voice.
“He’s a character,” Alanna laughs.
“I’m going to treat Regan, he needs a new winter jacket.”
Elara’s mother, Melanie Boyle, from Dennistoun, is a Glasgow Times reader, who also found out about our competition on Facebook. She said: “It’s good she came third out of all of the entries.
“Elara is just coming up for two, she’s very active, she loves drawing, playing, dancing and soft play.
“Her birthday is coming up in November, I will buy her something good for her birthday.”
