MUSIC FANS flocked to Glasgow yesterday as Playground Festival made a comeback after two years.
The event, which was previously cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, kicked off at 2pm with acts including James, Glasvegas, and Morcheeba taking to the stage.
Rockers The Libertines closed day one with a headline set on the Main Stage at Rouken Glen Park.

The festival will run until tomorrow evening with other headliners including Nile Rodgers and Boy George & Culture Club.
Two artists cancelled their appearances at the music festival yesterday.
Hot Chips announced they were unable to perform their Megamix set due to illness and Neil Barnes - of electronic duo Leftfield - pulled out due to personal circumstances.
Festival-goers can watch performances across three different stages including the Main Stage, Playpark Stage, and Forest Stage.

As the event continues today Boy George & Culture Club are set to headline the Main Stage this evening.
