AN appeal has been launched by police after a car was set on fire in Paisley yesterday.
Officers responded to Anchor Crescent at around 12.30am following reports of a car on fire.
The blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was hurt as a result.
Police are treating the fire as 'deliberate' and are appealing to anyone with any information to get in touch.

The male suspect is described as approximately 5ft 7ins in height and was wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask.
Detective Constable James Campbell said: "Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this completely reckless act.
"I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information which may assist enquiries to get in touch."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 0149 of September 25, 2021.
