A MAN has appeared in court accused of raping a woman.
Saif Ullah allegedly carried out the sex attack in a communal close in Glasgow's Dennistoun on September 25 this year.
The accusation includes a claim the 34 year-old forced the woman onto the ground.
Ullah has also been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by refusing a medical examination.
Ullah, also of Dennistoun, made no plea during a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He was released on bail by Sheriff Allan Findlay.
Ullah will return to court at a later date.
