A SUSPECT has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a man.
Ryan Quinn, 22, allegedly attacked Robert Daniel, 41, by repeatedly striking him on the head with machetes on September 11, 2021.
Quinn is said to have acted with others during the incident at Dawsholm Recycling Centre, near Maryhill.
Quinn is also accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
It is claimed a car was used in the alleged crime and it was set on fire at a cycle track between Kelso Street in the city’s Yoker and the River Clyde.
Quinn made no plea during a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court in eight days time.
