GREG TAYLOR is set for a pay rise at Celtic Park, according to a report.
The Hoops recently opened contract talks with the Scotland international.
The 23-year-old's deal expires 2023, but he remains on the same terms as when arrived from Kilmarnock two years ago.
After securing the services of Callum McGregor on a new long-term deal, Ange Postecoglou admitted there were other members of his first-team who he wanted to tie down for longer.
Taylor is believed to be amongst those players - and negotiations have already started.
The Daily Record report ithat nitial discussions could see the former Killie kid get a two or three year extension, as well as a wage rise.
He is regarded as Celtic's first choice left-back, with Adam Montgomery deputising in his absence through injury and Liam Scales not ready to be fully involved in first team action.
Taylor is currently sidelined through shoulder surgery after an injury he sustained against Ross County in early September.
And the defender is likely to be out until the end of next month.
