TWO Celtic fans have admitted being at a game while wearing paramilitary t-shirts.
Paul Townsend, 31, and Ryan Gallagher, 33, were held after a Champions League qualifier against Northern Irish side Linfield at Parkhead on July 19 2017.
Prosecutor Tanjeel Maleque told Glasgow Sheriff Court how police had been monitoring the standing section occupied by the Celtic 'Ultras' group the Green Brigade.
The fiscal went on: "Several persons were wearing white T-shirts with an image on the front.

"Police were instructed to obtain images of the persons.
"The T-shirts contained a paramilitary-style image of a face with its mouth covered, camouflage clothing, dark sunglasses and a black beret."
Prosecutors had stated the T-shirts were related to or in support of a ‘proscribed terrorist organisation’ namely the IRA.
Townsend, of Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, and Gallagher, of Gallowgate, Glasgow, each pled guilty to a breach of the peace The pair had originally faced an allegation under the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act, but instead admitted to the alternative charge.
Sheriff Valerie Mays fined both £400.
