DEMOLITION work has began on the historic Haghill School in Dennistoun.
Workmen were seen carefully taking apart the red sandstone building on Marwick Street brick by brick. Our photographer caputred images of each part of the former primary school being numbered individually.
We reported previously that Glasgow City Council were hoping to retain as many of the original features as possible.

The former establishment has lain empty for almost two decades since it closed in 2003.
Haghill has deteriorated and parts of the roof have collapsed. Vegetation has also taken hold.
It is hoped the site will now be used for social housing however planning permission is yet to be lodged.
