Snapchat has issued an update on the popular social media app outage.
The video messaging service is down for users across the UK.
The social media service, allows users to share pictures and videos with friends and family.
Users across The UK have reported issues with sending ‘snaps’ on the platform.

Snapchat Support tweeted: “We’re aware that some Snapchatters are having issues using the app right now - hang tight, we’re looking into it!”

DownDetector has received reports of problems after the popular social media app crashed for swathes of users across the UK.
Reports concerning Snapchat starts at 11.49am with complaints rising to 12,465 by 12.05pm.
A post from someone listed as 'Snapchat Admin' said the service "will shortly be back up and running" and added: "Please log out and log back in in the meantime to refresh your connection."
Users took to Twitter to find out what was causing the outage.
One user asked: “Is ya’ll Snapchat working?”
“I don't mind Snapchat being down because I'm not a big fan of pictures and I rarely post,” added another.
A third said: “Snapchat is down. What am I supposed to do with my life now?”
