A MAN who was seriously assaulted whilst on a train in Glasgow had to be taken to hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 11.47am today. The train was travelling between Glasgow Queen Street and Garrowhill at the time.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information to assist their enquiries.
They are particularly keen to identify and speak to three boys who were on board the service.

They are described as white, 13–15 years old, all wearing black face coverings and jogging bottoms. One is reported to have been wearing a black balaclava.
It is believed they departed the train at Bellgrove station.
