A young woman caught with cocaine has turned her life around and was praised by a sheriff.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard how Klaudia Sumara was arrested on September 30, 2019, in respect of another matter.
She was taken to Glasgow City Centre police station on Stewart Street where she was searched and cocaine and amphetamines were found on her.
The 22-year-old's defence lawyer said: "This occurred at a time when the accused was heavily using substances."
But he told the court she had made the most of a drug testing and treatment programme and had "successfully completed it and is no longer misusing drugs.
He added: "This is an older conviction that has caught up with her."
Sheriff Allan McKay said: "I wish you well".
Sumara, who now lives in Edinburgh, was admonished of the offence.
