A PROBE has been launched after a woman was allegedly spiked by injection at a nightclub in Glasgow.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at Nice N Sleazy's on Sauchiehall Street on Thursday evening.
Detectives have confirmed that they are investigating the claims and are carrying out inquiries into the alleged incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers in Glasgow are carrying out inquiries into a post relating to an allegation of spiking within a premises on Sauchiehall Street on Thursday, October 14.”
Elsewhere, police have been investigating a series of reports of women being spiked during nights out at different venues across Scotland.
Two women reported to have been injected with a substance in Edinburgh and Dundee, while a third woman claimed to have had her drink spiked in Stirling.
It comes after a series of posts emerged on social media in relation to the alleged method of spiking, with multiple women reporting small marks appearing on their backs and arms.
