UEFA have ruled that Celtic's second against Ferencvaros was an own goal after firstly awarding the strike to David Turnbull.
The ball bundled over the line after Turnbull originally fluffed at a cross ball on 81 minutes.
The goal was given to the Scotland international but replays showed that the ball came off Ferencvaros midfielder Balint Vecsei.
Speaking at full-time, Turnbull said: “I was hoping it was my goal. I haven't really checked it yet.
"It's obviously good to get another goal, no matter how ugly it is they all count and that's football. From the weekend, I score one of my better goals and tonight hit a miss-hit and luckily get the tap-in.
"I was just thinking to tap it in with my left then I think I've kicked over the ball - I think I've topped it a wee bit - and then I've seen the goalie dive and thought I've still got a chance at this so I just threw myself at it and hoped it went in.
"I'm always (trying to add to his goal tally]) Right the way through my career that's what I've tried to do.
"I see myself as a goalscoring midfielder and just everyday I can, I'll work on it.
"I work on finishing, work my hardest in training, and hopefully get even more before the end of the season.
"Each game goes by I feel we're getting stronger and stronger as a kinda team.
"We're all together and you can see that tonight. We could've went on and scored even more goals, created a lot of chances and we were solid at the back so it's just about continuing the form we're on at the moment and taking that into each game.
"The manager just said this is the games we all want to play football for, we kinda had to win, it was a huge game against a good side so we knew we had to take three points from this game. It's great we done that and we need to continue the form in Europe as well."
