MULTIPLE choirs will gather in Glasgow and sing a song together during COP26 to inspire the public and world leaders alike.
Sing the Change aims to harness 'the power of collective singing to help orchestrate social change' in cities across the UK.
Exactly at noon on Saturday, October 30 in London, Liverpool and Glasgow, crowds of singers will perform a version of What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong in public spaces.
The venue is not confirmed yet but organisers are hoping to use George Square.
Participants hope to stop passers-by in their tracks and remind them how precious Earth is.
Kirsty Walker, the Glasgow coordinator of the campaign, said: "This is what we as singers and musicians can do to show our support of COP26 and encourage the leaders who are meeting to make the right decisions to save our planet."
The song celebrates nature, the environment, life itself on Earth and the 'gorgeous' new arrangement is the work of renowned arranger, choral director and vocal coach Mark De-Lisser.
Rock choirs and Sing Aloud groups from the Glasgow area are confirmed to be joining the event.
Organisers are expecting 500-1000 across the three cities to perform.
