These animals at the Glasgow branch of the SSPCA are looking for forever homes - could that be you?

The Scottish Society for the Protection against Cruelty to Animals is Scotland's animal welfare charity responsible for rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals.

If you think you might be able to offer any of these animals their long awaited forever home, you can find more information here

Let's meet the Glasgow animals!

Here are the Glasgow animals in need of rehoming

LuLu

Glasgow Times:

Sex: Female

Age: 2 years

Breed: Domestic short hair

Colour: Black

LuLu arrived at the SSPCA pregnant, and while at first seemed unwilling to socialise, has since come out of her shell.

She now craves lots of attention and is more open to being handled, however it has to be on her terms.

LuLu is looking for an adult only home where there are no other cats and where she can be kept inside.

Karma

Glasgow Times:

Sex: Female

Age: Six years

Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier (cross)

Colour: Red/White

Karma is always excited to meet people and greets everyone she comes across.

She is strong meaning households should be adult only but her love of play paired with her sweet nature means she will make the perfect companion for someone in the right environment.

Patsy and Edina

Patsy and Edina are well-handled sister ferrets who love running around and exploring new places.

They will require a large enclosure where they can play, and both are easily handled.

Nicky

Glasgow Times:

Sex: Male

Age: 5-8 years

Breed: Domestic short hair

Colour: Black

Nicky is handsome who is slowly gaining confidence after an anxious start.

He takes some time to become comfortable around new people, however now he can be found lying next to his favourite humans looking for attention.

A quiet home with adults or older children would suit Nicky best to give him his own space.

Princess

Glasgow Times:

Sex: Female

Age: Nine years

Breed: Domestic short hair

Colour: Black

Princess is a nervous cat and therefore is seeking an experienced adult only home with no other pets.

Her anxiety means that she will initially require her own room in the house, but food can be used to help bond with Princess.

If you are interested in adopting Princess, you can read her full profile here.

Lectre

Glasgow Times:

Sex: Male

Age: n/a

Breed: Ferret

Colour: n/a

Lectre was found as a stray and is looking for a home that can offer a large cage and plenty of toys.

He will need an experienced ferret handler as he is not always the friendliest and can bite when picked up.

Moose

There is no picture available of Moose.

Sex: Male

Age: 3-5 years

Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier (cross)

Colour: Tan/White

Moose is of a sweet and affectionate temperament, who likes a lot of attention.

Potential owners must be willing to work on Moose's training as he is a reactive dog, but walks happily wearing a muzzle.

He loves walking and therefore an active home with no other animals would suit him best.
