Glasgow’s coolest new city centre bar and restaurant Abandon Ship have launched a new menu filled with small plates, boozy shakes and some seriously indulgent dessert options.
Developed by Group Executive Chef Nathan Kidney, expect to see global-inspired dishes like slow-cooked sticky beef short rib on the bone, pineapple mustard and crispy shallots and blackened beetroot with homemade cornbread on the new menu.
To round your meal off with something sweet Abandon Ship are serving a twist on a Glasgow classic in the form of a deep-fried mars bar taquito served with vanilla ice cream.

If you’d rather drink your calories then look no further than the boozy shake menu which includes Going Overboard, a ‘freakshake’ made with creamy vanilla ice cream, spiced rum, Amaretto, lashings of cherry syrup, whipped cream, Biscoff biscuit and biscuit crumb. With a cherry on top, naturally.
Nathan said: “Bold flavours and imaginative small plates are what you’ll find on our new menu. We wanted our customers to experience excellent international dishes at whatever time of the day they visit.
