INSTAGRAM sensation Jamie Genevieve has said she would not have chosen anywhere else than Glasgow for her first foray into retail.
Princes Square will host her Vieve make-up brand for a week-long, exclusive pop-up, opening on October 29.
The shopping mall said the brand will be brought to life in a “luxurious space” with make-up artists on hand to create signature looks with products that have achieved cult status including Eye Wands and Skin Dew.
Born Jamie Grant, the 28-year-old grew up on a housing estate in Tillicoultry, central Scotland, before moving to Glasgow.
She decided to branch out with her own cosmetics brand after her make-up tutorials amassed a social media following of more than 1.4 million people in just a few years.
The beauty guru has hand-picked special guests for the pop-up, which will be open until November 5, including her go-to hairstylist, Jack Baxter who will be offering hair tutorials.
There will also be an opportunity for Vieve palettes and lipsticks to be personalised by Laila Lettering.
Jamie said: “This is the moment I have been waiting for ever since we launched Vieve in November last year.
"There is nowhere else I could have opened my first pop-up. It just had to be Glasgow…….I cannot wait for people to see the products in real life."
Katie Moody from Princes Square said: “We are so thrilled to have Jamie Genevieve’s make up brand Vieve in for a pop up.
"We are massive fans of Jamie and the brand and we are delighted that she’s chosen Princes Square as the first store to buy her range in person.”
