STAFF at a popular West End restaurant welcomed another special visitor this week. 

Star of Only an Excuse and Two Doors Down, Jonathan Watson stopped off for a bite to eat at La Lanterna yesterday.

Bosses at the Great Western Road eatery shared a photo of the Scottish actor posed with two employees on social media. 

They wrote: "Today we were star struck yet again! This time we had the pleasure of meeting Scottish actor Jonathan Watson!"

The Italian restaurant, which also has a city centre base on Hope Street, is known for attracting stars. 

We previously reported how Celtic star Joe Hart had been spotted celebrating the Hoops' win at the popular spot on Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, Wet, Wet, Wet frontman Marti Pellow was also pictured at La Lanterna West End after enjoying a meal there last month.
