THIS is the moment that Ally McCoist paid a fitting tribute to Walter Smith.
Rangers sadly announced this morning that he club legend had passed away age 73.
Smith led the Light Blues to 10 top-flight titles, five Scottish Cups and six League Cups as well as to the UEFA Cup final in 2008.
McCoist played under Smith, and went on to become a coach, colleague and most importantly a friend of the Scottish football icon.
Speaking on talkSPORT this morning, an understandably emotional McCoist said he'd lost his second father.
Reacting just moments after the devastating news, the Gers hero joined Jim White and Simon Jordon on the broadcaster's breakfast show.
You can watch every second of his memorable tribute to the late, great Smith below.
