COLOURBOXX has announced a “sparkling” line-up for its debut festival in Bellahouston Park in June next year.
Transforming the park into a “kaleidoscope” of music, performance art and togetherness, the festival’s lineup will include Glasgow rising star Joesef, platinum-selling Years & Years and chart-dominating Becky Hill.
Soul-pop hero Joesef said: “I’m buzzing to play Colourboxx next year, there is always more room for festivals like this and I’m glad Scotland is actively trying to create a more inclusive space for festival-goers who may usually feel excluded from the typical festival effort.
“Can’t wait.”
Olly Alexander, from Years & Years, said: “I’m very excited to be headlining Colourboxx.
“I can’t wait to bring the world of Night Call to Glasgow, every queer fantasy shall come true and all our destinies will be fulfilled!”
Colourboxx will also feature some of the best DJs, cabaret performances and drag acts across several stages and performance areas, including Bimini, Jodie Harsh and Walt Disco.
Jodie Harsh said: “I can’t wait to come up to Glasgow and play for Colourboxx – it truly represents how everything should be, diverse and all about having a good time.
“Everybody’s welcome in my house and I can’t wait to rock the Colourboxx house.”

To top it off, festival-goers will be able to get some of the “tastiest” food and “most extravagant” cocktails Scotland has to offer, and there will also be relaxation areas if you need a rest from all the dancing.
A celebration of love and inclusion, Colourboxx will be operating a zero-tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and all forms of discrimination.
The one-day event will take place on Saturday, June 25, with more acts still to be announced.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, November 5 at colourboxx.com, with people able to make a donation to LGBT Youth & Time for Inclusive Education when purchasing a ticket.
