Warning from Toby Carvery
A Facebook scam has seen the chain move to warn its loyal customers.
"Unfortunately there has been an upsurge in fake Facebook pages being created with the core aim of collecting contact and payment details from people," Toby Carvery warned.
"Please note, we have taken the necessary steps and reported this page (and any others) for violating Facebook's Community Standards.
"However, sometimes these pages stay active for longer than they should so please be cautious.
"If you encounter these pages, please do not engage and report the page as soon as you can."
The warning saw customers rush to tag their friends and family in the comments to share the warning.
Others also explained how they has been affected by the scam.
Toby Carvery is a firm favourite among Brits who can’t get enough of their selection of freshly carved meats, golden roast potatoes and fresh veg.
