STILL Game and pantomime star Gavin Mitchell won't feature in this year's Glasgow show due to suffering from long Covid.
Aladdin will run at the SEC Armadillo from December 11-29.
Mitchell, who is best known for his role as "Boaby the Barman", was to play evil Abanazar in the Disney classic.
However, the actor had had to pull out due to health reasons. It is not yet known who will replace him.
In a statement on social media, the SEC wrote: "We’re sorry to let our audiences know that Gavin Mitchell is recovering from Long COVID, so won’t be able to appear in our production of Aladdin this Christmas.
"Gavin will be missed by all of those working on the show – and of course our audiences too! Our thoughts are with him as he works towards making a full recovery.
