Popular Glasgow author Douglas Stuart has shared the new cover of his upcoming book.
The cover of Douglas' new novel Young Mungo was unveiled by Oprah Daily today.
It features a young boy with half of his face submerged in water, and was captured by photographer Kyle Thompson.
Douglas, who holds British and American citizenship, explained on Twitter that this image will be the American cover.
He assured fans that the UK cover will be revealed soon and will not disappoint.
He said: "I’ll be able to share the UK cover from @picadorbooks with you very soon.
"I promise, it’s an absolute belter."
The Booker Prize-winning author of Shuggie Bain also revealed more about the publication of Young Mungo.
He wrote: "It all feels suddenly very real... YOUNG MUNGO publishes in early April and I can't wait for you to meet Mungo and James and the dysfunctional Hamilton fam.
"If you are kind enough to pre-order, please consider your local and indie bookstores."

Young Mungo will tell the story of two teenage boys growing up in Glasgow in 1992, facing the divide between Catholics and Protestants.
The title refers to the city's patrion saint, Saint Mungo.
