Users of Santander bank were reporting outages with their services.
According to Down Detector, a site where users can register issues with various websites and servers, customers were facing issues with mobile banking, online banking and mobile login.
Santander took to Twitter to confirm that it is aware some customers are facing issues. The statement reads: “We’re aware that some customers are experiencing issues accessing mobile and online banking and making card payments.
“We’re sorry for the inconvenience and working hard to fix the issue as soon as possible. Please check our service status page for updates.”

At 10am, Santander wrote on Twitter that all issues should now be resolved.
The tweet read: "Our services are now available as usual. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience while we fixed the issues some customers experienced earlier this morning.

Santander outages reported on Twitter
Users took to Twitter to voice their issues. One claimed they had transferred money into their account; however, it did not appear.
Another claimed that their card had been declined when they attempted use in a shop.
In replies to customers, Santander assured that incoming payments should not be affected by the outages.
The bank also says that the app should be working fine, and have advised customers on Twitter to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
As of 8:30am, reports on Down Detector began to increase, indicating not as many reports of issues.
The Santander service status website now reports that all services are back to normal.
