FULL closures on the M8 in Glasgow begin tomorrow for essential overnight maintenance.
Eastbound and westbound closures are in place at M8 Woodside Viaducts from Friday, November 26 to Wednesday, December 1 2021, between 8pm and 6am, each night.
The road will re-open as normal outwith these times.
A signed diversion route will be in operation for the work to remove a overhead gantry sign.
- November 26 to November 28: During the westbound work, traffic will exit at M8 Junction 16 to Garscube Road then travel via St. Georges Road and North Street to return via the M8 Junction 19 on slip road.
- November 29 to December 1: During the eastbound work, traffic will exit at M8 Junction 17 and travel via St. Georges Road, Garscube Road and Dobbie’s Loan to return via the Craighall on slip road at M8 Junction 16.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
