Train services to Dalmuir to Hyndland via Yoker were briefly closed between 6:43am and 7:12am causing disruption to hundreds of early morning commuters.
All lines were finally re-opened at 7:55 with the swan safely moved.
ScotRail says members of the public should continue to expect delays and revisions to the service as drivers and trains try to return to their planned schedule.
