The Scottish Italian awards took place last night at a glamorous ceremony in Glasgow's city centre.
The best chefs from all over the country gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton in the hopes of taking home a prestigious award for their work.
We're not biased, but we're especially chuffed to see some of our local food hero's recognised as prizewinners in categories that range from Best Pizza to Lifetime Achievement.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Winnner: Battlefield Rest- Marco Giannasi
Where: 55 Battlefield Road
Owner Marco Gianassi took home the lifetime achievement award for his 27 years in business at one of the city's best-loved Italian restaurants, the Battlefield rest.

Scotland's Favourite Italian Business
Winner: La Fiorentina
Where: 2 Paisley Road West
La Fiorentina opened in 1989 and since then they have been serving ' the very best Tuscan and Italian specialities to hungry Glaswegians.'
In response to their win, they said: "Thank you very much to all our customers that support us every day."

Scotland's Best Chef
Winner: Mediterraneo Ristorante & Champagne Bar
Where: 159 Ingram street
This bustling restaurant, pizzeria and champagne bar in the heart of Merchant city took home the award for Scotland's best chef.
There's no doubt their classic dishes like Sea Bass Cartoccio and Penne Al Capone helped them to bag the prize.
Scotland's Best Deli/Cafe
Winner: La Pastina Deli
Where: 180 Byres road
After only a few months in business, La Pastina earned itself the title of best deli/cafe.
It's no surprise, however, since owner John Traynor has plenty of previous experience at Porter and Rye, The Finnieston and as a private chef to Celtic legend Odsonne Edouard.

Scotland's Best Restaurant Over 50 Seats
Winner: La Lanterna Glasgow
Where: 35 Hope street
Loved by locals and celebrity guests alike, La Lanterna on Hope street has been open since 1970.
They now have a second location in Glasgow's West End where they focus on serving great quality, authentic Italian food with no fuss.

Scotland's Best Family-Friendly Restaurant & Scottish Barista Champion
Winner: Celino's Partick
Where: 235 Dumbarton road
Scooping not one, but two awards on the night was Celino's in Partick.
They beat stiff competition to be crowned Barista Champion as well as the award of Best Family Run Restaurant.
Priding themselves on offering ‘tutto per tutti’ (everything for everyone) they said of their win: "Thank you so much to everyone who nominated us.
"We couldn’t have done it without you."

Scotland's Best Fish and Chips
Winner: Enzo's Crookston
Where: 4 Crookston Road
There's a strong link between Glasgow chip shops and Italian heritage in the city.
As such, a hugely important category at the Scottish Italian Awards was 'Best Fish and Chips.'
The catch of the day went to Enzo's in Crookston who said they had "an absolute blast" at the ceremony.
Scotland's Best Pizza
Winner: Franco Scanavini- Tonys Chipshop Shawhead
Where: 15 Berwick Street, Coatbridge
If you're looking for the best pizza in Scotland, you'll have to take a short journey out of Glasgow to find Tonys Chipshop in Coatbridge.
A quick scroll through their social media should have you convinced that they're worthy winners.
Just prepare yourself for some serious carb cravings.
