TWO people have been taken to hospital after a crash this morning.
Officers responded to the A80 Cumbernauld Road near Muirhead following reports of a crash involving one vehicle just before 8am.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and a man and woman were taken to hospital for treatment.
The road remained closed as cops investigated the crash.
The force confirmed the road has since reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the A80 Cumbernauld Road at around 7.40am on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, following a road crash involving one vehicle.
"Emergency services attended and two people, a man, and a woman were taken to hospital for treatment.
"The road was closed for collision investigation to be carried out and was reopened by 1pm."
