A SOUTHSIDE charity has launched a Christmas appeal to collect money for breast cancer patients.
To decorate the Tree of Hope, Shawlands charity Make 2nds Count is selling festive baubles.
The proceeds of every purchase go towards secondary breast cancer research and supporting people who live with the disease, as part of their Make Christmas Count initiative.
Individual baubles cost £25 and are shaped like stars, with the charity's name on them.

The tree, where they will be placed, is located in the Church On The Hill in Algie Street and donors will receive their personalised baubles after the festive period.
Claire, a local patient the charity has been working with, said: ”I am so passionate and determined about the work Make 2nds Count do and the support services they are offering to patients across the UK.
"We are one of only a few dedicated to helping secondary breast cancer patients. Please help us by buying a Bauble of Hope and dedicate it to someone special.”
Emma Hall, Head of Fundraising and Engagement, Make 2nds Count, said: “Every family has cherished decorations that come out every year, baubles that mean something poignant to them personally, and this is just a lovely way of sharing a bit of that special Christmas spirit with others.
“It really is the most wonderful time of the year and we’re confident that people will embrace our message of hope this festive season by taking the opportunity to add some sparkle to our trees and to boost our research funds.”
