Scottish rom-com Lost At Christmas will premiere on nationwide TV channels this Christmas.
The low-budget romance filmed in Glencoe and Fort William last year has been picked up by the BBC as part of their festive line-up.
The film tells the story of two strangers who find themselves heartbroken and stranded in the Scottish Highlands on Christmas Eve.
After putting their differences aside, they team up to try and get home for Christmas.
The film boasts a cast of Scottish stars such as Sylvester McCoy, who starred in Doctor Who and The Hobbit, Still Game’s Sanjeev Kohli, Emmerdale’s Frazer Hines, and Clare Grogan from Gregory’s Girl, alongside rising stars Natalie Clark and Kenny Boyle.
The heartwarming movie is set for three airings across BBC One and the BBC Scotland channel, as well as providing on demand festive cheer on the BBC iPlayer.
Actor Sanjeev Kohli, who plays the grouchy landlord of Glencoe’s famous Clachaig Inn, said: “What a privilege to be on the telly in a Xmas movie on Xmas day. That Snowman is going DOWN.”
The film was shot weeks before the national lockdown and was released on streaming services and some cinemas last Christmas.

BAFTA nominee director Ryan Hendrick said: “With the few cinemas that were open last Christmas, we managed to get into ten cinemas across the UK, and to our amazement those cinemas were reporting record turnout for our wee movie, many of them having to book additional showings.
“It was evident Lost At Christmas resonated with audiences and I am beyond ecstatic that our film is being shown on the BBC. It’s a real milestone for us.”
Lost At Christmas will air on BBC Scotland on Monday, December 20, BBC One on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day on BBC Scotland.
