Sergeant Caroline Harrod, Paisley Police Office, said: "Although Greig has made contact since he went missing, he is only 15-years of age and we need to find him to make sure he is ok.
"He has links with Barrhead, Bathgate and Ayr and officers have been making enquiries in these areas as well as locally in an effort to locate him.
"If you have any information as to where he is or can assist with our appeal, then please call police at Paisley Police Station via 101. Please quote reference number 3717 of Sunday, 5 December, 2021 when calling.
"We'd also appeal to Greig himself to get in touch with family or police as soon as possible."
