SCOTRAIL have advised that they have cancelled some of their services due to concerns over Covid.

Some trains across the Central Belt may not be operating due to the 'rapid' spread of the new Omicron variant.

It was explained that the cancellations are the result of staff self-isolating due to the virus.

Customers are being advised to check their journey on the Scotrail app before they travel.

“We are working flat out to run a safe and reliable railway in difficult circumstances.”
