A BUSY Glasgow road remains closed this morning due to a burst water pipe.
Paisley Road is currently shut to all westbound traffic between the Springfield Quay junction and Watt Street.
Glasgow City Council's traffic control and management (TRAFFCOM) team announced the closure at around 9pm yesterday.
Access to/from the Springfield Quay remains open and Paisley Road is open to one lane eastbound through the roadworks.

Drivers are advised to consider alternate routes while repair work is carried out.
A TRAFFCOM statement issued last night reads: "Paisley Road is currently closed to all westbound traffic between the Springfield Quay junction and Watt Street due to a burst water main.
"Scottish Water is attending the failure and road users should consider alternate routes. Further updates will be issued once more information is available."
UPDATE: Paisley Road has reopened as of 11:49am Monday, December 13.
