ScotRail have issued an urgent 'plan your journey' warning to commuters this morning after a number of their staff have been forced to self isolate due to covid 19.
In a statement on Twitter, the rail firm warned: "We're seeing an increase in the number of our staff having to self-isolating due to COVID-19.
"Customers planning on travelling today should check their journeys beforehand on our app or website."

Their warning comes after we reported last week that train services in the city were axed due to an Omicron Covid outbreak among ScotRail workers.
The rail operator was forced to cancel journeys across the city and central belt due to a shortage of staff.
Scores of employees were either awaiting results, isolating due to being 'pinged' by Test and Protect or have tested positive for the virus.
The outbreak has caused chaos across the Scottish network, with services between Glasgow Central, Queen Street, Edinburgh Waverley, Helensburgh and Balloch cancelled due to a lack of staff.
Now at the start of a busy commuter week, ScotRail has issued another warning.
We're seeing an increase in the number of our staff having to self-isolating due to COVID-19. Customers planning on travelling today should check their journeys beforehand on our app or website.
