Glasgow City Council has revealed arrangements for wheelie bin and waste collections during the festive break.
Households in the city whose bins would normally be collected on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, January 1 and 2 will now be asked to take their wheelie bin to the kerbside on an alternative day,
This means all blue, green and brown bins due for collection on Saturday/Christmas Day will be picked up on Monday, December 27.
All blue, green and brown bins due for collection on Sunday/Boxing Day will be picked up on Tuesday, December 28.
All blue, green and brown bins due for collection on Saturday, January 1 will be picked up on Monday, January 3.
All blue, green and brown bins due for collection on Sunday, January 2 will be picked up on Tuesday, January 4.
Bulk or excess waste can be taken to Dawsholm Recycling Centre, Easter Queenslie Recycling Centre, Polmadie Recycling Centre or Sheildhall Recycling Centre.
They are open seven days a week 8am to 6pm with the last entry 5.45pm. Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
