A MAN was taken to hospital last night after an assault left him with a serious injury.
The 55-year-old was attacked by a group of people at the corner of Tullis Street and Greenhead Street in Bridgeton at around 8.15pm.
He was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment but his injuries are not said to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Jay Gill of Shettleston Police Station said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance around the area on Monday evening to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2802 of 03 January or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
