Since spotting the signage for a new Grain and Grind location in the West End of Glasgow last month, we've been eagerly awaiting more information as to what the team have in store for us.
A firm favourite with Southsiders, Grain and Grind first opened the doors to their Battlefield coffee shop in 2018 and have launched six other locations, reaching as far north as Inverness.
Now, we are excited to share the first photos from inside the brunch experts' new West End venture, as well as get the lowdown from Co-Founder Matthew Mustard on what to expect when they open in early 2022.

He said: "It’s in a cool up and coming area with a diverse population of students, professionals, and tourists and we are excited to serve them Grain and Grind coffee with our great selection of cakes and pastries.
"It’s a 45 seater cafe on a great corner location with the potential for outdoor seating.
"We’ve really enjoyed re-envisioning the space into our bright and modern Grain and Grind style."
Located on the corner of Old Dumbarton Road and Lumsden Street, just a stone's throw away from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, the shop is in a prime location for a lazy West End wander.
Although building work is still well underway, we can already tell that this modern space filled with natural light will be the perfect place for a cuppa.

Looking back on how far Grain and Grind has grown in the last few years Matthew said: "It’s a great feeling opening up our seventh location.
"The support from our customers has been fantastic and we genuinely wouldn’t be where we are today without their support through the past four years.
"Especially during 2020 and 2021, when we all had to adjust to pandemic life.
"We still carry our small business ethos with us."
