A VEHICLE was deliberately set on fire in Greenock.
The incident happened around 1.50am this morning on the town's Shankland Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene and extinguished the blaze.
Nobody was injured in the incident.

Police officers are treating the fire as wilful and are asking anyone who witnessed any person or persons acting suspiciously in the area or has any information as to who is responsible.
They can be contacted via 101 quoting incident number 0169 of January 13 2022.
