Shawlands residents will no doubt have fond memories of the Black Dove, a popular brunch spot on Pollokshaws Road that announced its shock closure in 2018.
We have good news then as Chris Rouse, the chef behind the dearly missed restaurant has teamed up with the Corona Bar for a delicious new project.

The 'Shawlands Street Food' pop up launched yesterday, Sunday 16 with an adventurous menu full of dishes like Soft Shell Tacos with Korean Style Pork Belly, Greek Gyros with Chicken Souvlaki or MaC and Cheese with Nduja, Spicy Salami and Jalapenos.
Speaking of their first weekend's success the Corona Bar and Kitchen said: “Well Shawlands Street Food first day was a huge success… seems Southsiders love Tacos."
The exciting new pop up menu will be available at the Pollokshaws Road spot on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
