DETECTIVES are probing a possible link between a shooting in Glasgow and a stabbing just days earlier, according to the Daily Record.
A 31-year-old man was found seriously injured after he was shot on Barony Drive in Baillieston shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital before being transferred to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Police Scotland said the incident was a "targeted attack" and "everything is being done" to trace the person responsible.
Now, the Daily Record has reported that a link between the incident and a "sword attack" on Sunday, January 9 is being looked into by detectives.
During the attack, a man was stabbed in Skerray Street, Milton.
A source told the Daily Record: "Attacks like this obviously don't happen by chance.
"The officers working on this investigation will be doing all they can to catch those responsible.
"They won't be ruling anything out unless they're 100 per cent."
