Glasgow has once again become the stage for an international blockbuster with the filming for HBO's Batgirl well underway.
Photos from the set in Trongate show the incredible attention to detail that has gone into creating a superhero ready scene with revamped street signs and subtle nods to the original caped crusader himself on every corner.
It's well worth a trip to explore, and if you find yourself feeling peckish you might want to consider a pit stop at one of the cafes and bars surrounding the main filming locations.
After all, how many chances will you have in life to say you've grabbed a bite to eat in 'Gotham'?
Rose and Grants - 27 Trongate
A cosy cafe serving up soups, toasties and an impressive selection of cakes from the Big Bear Bakery.
If you're lucky, you might nab a window seat looking directly onto the Glasgow cross where Christmas market scenes were filmed last week.
Plantyful - 3 Osborne Street
This fully vegan cafe is right in the thick of the behind the scenes action with Batgirl crew vehicles lined up outside.
Treat yourself to a freshly baked croissant, grab a coffee and see if you can catch some A-list gossip in passing.
The 13th Note - 50-60 King St
A relaxed bar with a welcoming atmosphere, perfect if you fancy a pint afternoon of walking around the filming locations.
We recommend a portion of their award-winning chips too, for good measure.

Super Bario - 7 King Street
Super Bario's exterior has undergone a huge transformation for filming on King Street, but they're still open serving alcohol and soft drinks.
Have a go on one of their vintage arcade machines to defeat some bad guys if you're feeling inspired by the heroic Batgirl.
Mono - 10-12 King's Court
Fully vegan Mono at Kings Court is open for business despite nearby filming.
A vegan pizza crunch supper and a flick through the records at their Monorail music shop sounds like the perfect way to wind down after an exciting day of exploring Glasgow's answer to Hollywood.
Maggie May's - 60 Trongate
Another spot that's in a prime location for observing the hustle and bustle of filming.
Maggie May's is a stone's throw away from the Tollbooth Steeple which we understand has been used as a backdrop for a number of Batgirl scenes.

Buck's Bar - 96 Trongate
Just a few doors down from Maggie' Mays is Buck's Bar which has a fantastic outdoor seating area for superhero spotting.
Not only that, Buck's are currently running a 40 per cent off cocktails offer until January 27.
That might just be enough to convince us to pay a visit to Gotham city.
