A lively city centre bar is swapping pub grub for authentic Greek Gyros as they welcome a new kitchen residency.
Firewater on Sauchiehall street is a popular student hang out that has, until now, delighted diners a hearty menu of pizzas, munchy boxes and loaded fries.

In a refreshing change of course they have now handed their kitchen over to SOUVLAKI, who will serve traditional Grecian fare.
You'll now be able to pair your pint with a selection of Gyros, which are made with a warm pitta stuffed full of seasoned fries, salad and a choice of chicken, pork or halloumi.
Veggies will be well catered for too with plant-based options like Vegan Feta Fries or Vegan 'Chicken' Gyros.

The late-night bar announced the news on social media yesterday saying: "Today we hand over the reins of our beloved kitchen to a new offering.
"SOUVLAKI & team will offer Authentic Greek Style Gyros & Sides for your delight.
"Check them out inside Firewater from tonight onwards.
"Yiamas!"
