An investigation has been launched after a man approached a schoolboy in Glasgow’s West End.
The 12-year-old was walking on South Woodside Road, near the Kelvinbridge Subway station, when he was approached by a man.
Alarmed, the boy ran to his parents who were nearby.
They contacted the police who are now scouring CCTV to identify the man.
It’s also understood that a nearby school sent a letter to parents warning them of the incident.
It is not known if the boy was connected to the school, but the letter appealed for dashcam footage.
It read: “The Police have appealed for any dashcam footage from 15.30 to 16.30 on Thursday 20.
“If you have any information, please contact Police Scotland on 101 and use incident number 2546 20 Jan."
