A MAN is accused of attempting to incite other football supporters after a Rangers match.
Christopher Granger, 40, allegedly behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at Ibrox subway station on September 16, 2021.
Court papers state that Granger was on his way home in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, from Rangers' Europa League defeat against Lyon when he "shouted and swore."
It goes on to state that Granger "attempted to incite other football supporters and shouted threats of violence."
Granger faces a second charge of resisting four British Transport Police officers in the execution of their duty.
He is claimed to have lashed out with his arms and attempted to pull away from them.
No plea was made at a hearing for the two charges in Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He will appear at court next month for a further hearing.
Granger remains on bail meantime.
