ST. ENOCH Centre bosses have revealed first look pictures of how a new rooftop restaurant would look.
Property developer and asset manager, Sovereign Centros, has submitted a planning application to transform the vacant Debenhams store.
And these images show how a new eaterie with open air seating would look.
Guy Beaumont, Director at Sovereign Centros, said: "The proposals outline how modern new office space could be delivered alongside a striking rooftop restaurant with stunning views across the city.
"The application demonstrates commitment to the ongoing enhancement and investment into St. Enoch Centre.
"An outline planning application is also being progressed for a longer term masterplan to reimagine the centre into a best-in-class mixed-use development, focusing on retail, leisure, entertainment, hotel, offices and city centre living."
The Glasgow Times first revealed in September last year how more than 1700 homes could be created in the city centre mall as bosses plan a transformational overhaul.
A masterplan for the site would create new shopping and leisure space; turn the former Debenhams building into offices; build a four-star hotel; and build flats.
It will form part of a major redesign of Glasgow city centre with bosses revealing last week that Buchanan Galleries may be in line for demolition and redevelopment.
A consultation into the Buchanan Street centre will launch in the spring.
