A NEW restaurant looks set to open in Glasgow very soon as a new store sign has popped up.
Workers were spotted outside the former Burger King on Sauchiehall Street, which looks to be in the midst of transforming into Jollibee.
The sign has been assembled over the last couple of days and is surrounded by vans and scaffolding.
The fast food chain originates in the Philippines and prides itself on delivering fast food with a 'tropical' twist.
There are already eight branches in England, and Glasgow and Edinburgh stores have been confirmed.
Jollibee specialises in an interesting mix of chicken, burgers and spaghetti.
The opening of the restaurant marks an unusual addition to the high street, which has seen major closures in recent weeks.

We recently reported that M&S just a few yards down Sauchiehall Street would be closing.
While the store's windows are boarded up, there is a sign that says 'opening soon'.
Jollibee have been contacted for comment.
