RESIDENTS have returned home and a cordon has been removed following a bomb scare in Dennistoun.
Officers raced to Milnbank Street yesterday afternoon after a suspicious package was reported inside business premises at around 3.30pm.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) crews also attended for around three hours and found it was "not a viable device".

During the incident, a cordon was put in place and Alexandra Parade was locked down while local residents were evacuated.
The cordon was later removed and residents were able to return home.
The M8 was closed eastbound between junction 14 and 15 and westbound from junction 12, before reopening around 6.30pm.
Enquiries are ongoing and police have thanked the public for their patience and co-operation.
