CHRIS SUTTON has posted a cryptic Aaron Ramsey tweet amid reports that the Welsh international is set to sign for Rangers.
Herald and Times Sport understands that a deal has been completed between the Ibrox club and Juventus to bring the former Arsenal man in on loan.
The likes of Wolves, Burnley and Newcastle have also been credited with an interest in the 31-year-old midfielder.
Sutton tweeted about the deal saying: "I remember when Rangers thought they’d signed John Hartson… what happened next?"
The Celtic hero is referring to when Hartson nearly joined the Light Blues on the same day as Ronald De Boer back in 2000, but failed a medical.
He then moved to Parkhead 12 months later for a fee of £6million from Coventry City.
Juventus will heavily subside Ramsey’s huge weekly wage packet during his time in Glasgow as he aims for regular first team football following a frustrating time on the continent.
The champions will have an option to extend Ramsey’s stay at Ibrox come the end of the campaign after striking a loan to buy arrangement with Juve.
