Andina is owned by Maria Varela who opened the shop to share her culture and love of food with the people of Glasgow after here moving from Colombia in 2017.
Speaking of her appreciation for the Dennistoun neighbourhood on the most recent episode of the Glasgow Food Chat podcast she said: "It is proper, proper Glasgow. At the start, it was quite challenging for me just because of the accent.
"I had to ask 'what' so many times.
"But it is very welcoming."
It sounds like a match made in heaven to us.
