AN OTTER pup has died after it was trapped in an illegal snare in a forest near Glasgow.
The animal was found in the Carron Valley Forrest area near Kilsyth on Monday, January 24.
Police Scotland has launched an investigation and officers are asking anyone with information on knowledge of anyone setting of unauthorised snares anywhere in Lanarkshire to come forward.
